PRODUCT OVERVIEW

• Fire retardant cable, copper conductor (Class 2), metallic armor (DATA or DSTA), PVC insulation, FR-PVC sheath.
• CVV/DATA fire retardant cable; DSTA / FRT is designed to limit the spread of flames when affected by fire, suitable for use in various types of buildings …, installed in fixed systems.

IDENTIFICATION

• By color of insulation:
  – Single core cable: Black
  – Multi-core cable: 2 cores (Red, black), 3 cores (red, yellow, blue), 4 cores (red, yellow, blue, black)
• Or by customer’s requirement.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Rated voltage Uo/U: 0.6/1kV
• Maximum conductor temperature in normal operation 70°C
• Max. conductor temperature in short-circuit for 5s max duration:
  Conductor cross-section > 300 mm²: 140°C
  Conductor cross-section ≤ 300 mm²: 160°C
• Cable are subjected to fire at 950°C for 3 hours
• The flame retardant cables have a significant reduced tendency to propagate fire
• Min. bend radius: 8xD (D: Overall diameter of cable)
