DAPHACO OFFICIALLY BECOMES A MEMBER OF THE VIETNAM GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL – COMMITTING TO SUSTAINABLE GREEN DEVELOPMENT
Amidst the global trend toward sustainable development and environmental impact mitigation, DAPHACO Electric Cable Joint Stock Company has officially become a member of the Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC) as of April 2026. This is a significant milestone, clearly demonstrating the company’s steadfastness in its strategy to align with the “greenified” trend in Vietnam and around the world.
Established in 2007, the Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC) has dedicated its efforts to transforming the Vietnamese real estate industry into one that is resilient, sustainable, and healthy for both people and the environment across generations. As the official representative of the World Green Building Council (WGBC) in Vietnam, VGBC strives to guide and advise its members toward achieving green building practices in the country. In line with WGBC priorities, international standards, and Vietnam’s COP26 commitments toward Net-Zero emissions by 2050, VGBC’s mission is to drive the green building market and sustainable development for Vietnam and future generations.
By becoming a VGBC member, DAPHACO expects to gain access to and stay updated on advanced standards, trends, and solutions—especially green building rating systems tailored to Vietnam’s conditions. This will provide the company with a foundation to enhance its research and development (R&D) capabilities, improve products to be more environmentally friendly, and meet the increasingly stringent requirements of both domestic and international markets.
Over the years, DAPHACO has always prioritized developing safe, energy-efficient electric wire and cable product lines that minimize environmental impact. Products such as LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheathed cables and heavy metal-free, RoHS-compliant electric cables have been researched, developed, and utilized by the company to build sustainable structures.
In the coming time, DAPHACO will actively participate in training programs, professional seminars, and networking activities organized by VGBC. Concurrently, the company will step up collaborative research and the application of new technologies to enhance product quality. The company also aims to meet international green standards, progressively raising its competitive capacity and affirming its position in the market.
